Mike Radowsky specialized in marble care when he began to get an increasing number of requests for decorative concrete. As a result, he and his team began offering decorative concrete, which today accounts for the majority of his business.
Today, CCSI Marble Care and Decorative Concrete serve clients in Alabama, New York, and Southern and Central Ontario. And while CCSI Marble and Decorative Concrete’s clientele is predominantly residential, Radowsky and his team have worked with numerous commercial clients, including hotels, restaurants, and art galleries.
CCSI Marble Care and Decorative Concrete, which provides both interior and exterior designs, specializes in acid staining and dying with eco-friendly dyes, but they also offer stamped concrete, concrete overlays, skim stone micro-overlays, epoxy floor coatings, concrete stenciled textured spray, color sealing, crack repair, foundation crack repair, concrete resurfacing, tile and grout cleaning, and pressure washing.
“We have begun to successfully do the skim stone-micro overlays, a tiled product. They are very handsome with a Venetian appearance to it,” Radowsky says.
A common concern from clients is the lifespan of the decorative concrete. How long a decorative concrete product will last, however, depends upon varying factors, including how much traffic comes through and how well the decorative concrete is maintained. Commercial decorative concrete can have a lifespan of between six months and five years depending on wear while residential decorative concrete can last for years as long as the seal is maintained.
In their nine years in business, CCSI Marble Care and Decorative Concrete have worked with countless residential and commercial clients. But, one project in particular stands out among their best, according to Radowsky. It was also one of their most challenging jobs.
“It was a job that had gone bad by a contractor who didn’t know what he was doing with acid stain,” Radowsky says. “We had to completely take his job right off, bring it back, and redo the whole thing. That was a particularly satisfying job because the clients were distressed but when we finished the job they were very, very happy with the outcome for the money they had spent overall.”
In fact, without the help of CCSI Marble and Decorative Concrete, the client’s boutique would have had to set their store opening back, but Radowsky and his team were able to put them back onto schedule for their desired opening date.
CCSI Marble Care and Decorative Concrete, which derives much of its business from internet advertising and referrals, serve clients in both the United States and Canada.
