Fixing a Slippery Stamped Concrete Surface

If you have a slippery stamped concrete surface, there are a few ways to fix it. Most slippery concrete is caused by the sealer that was installed or applied. Sealers waterproof the concrete surface and make it stain resistant, but can also make it very slippery. There are products available that you can use to make the surface more grippy. The product is called "shark grip" anti-slip additive. The powdery substance is a plastic shaving that is ground and mixed with a sealer. When the concrete is resealed the grip sticks out and creates a slight sand paper finish. The level of grip is determined by the amount of material added to the sealer. Now, not only do you get a nice newly sealed surface, you won't end up on your rump or have lawsuits from a slip and fall accident.
